Blank NFC tags work fine for hidden deployments, but the moment a tag is customer-visible, printing becomes part of the product. Here's what's possible and what it costs.

What Can Be Printed

• Your logo and brand colors — full CMYK or spot-color printing on the tag face
• QR codes — printed alongside the NFC chip for dual-technology access (smartphone cameras + NFC)
• Serial numbers — unique IDs printed per tag, matching the encoded data for human-readable verification
• Variable data — different artwork or data per tag in the same production run
• Instructions or icons — "Tap here to connect WiFi" or a phone-tap glyph that guides users

To get clean results, send us:

• Vector format (AI, EPS, or PDF) — not screenshots or JPGs for logos
• Exact tag dimensions — or tell us the target size and we'll advise
• CMYK color values — Pantone (PMS) codes if brand colors are critical
• Safe zone — keep critical elements 1–2 mm from the tag edge

The Production Process

1. Send artwork + tag specifications
2. Approve a digital proof — we mock up the print for confirmation
3. Sample lot (optional but recommended) — 50–200 pieces to verify print quality
4. Production run — printing + encoding + 100% QC in one line, 10–15 days

One Design Tip That Pays Off

If your tag will be tapped by end users, print a visual cue — an NFC icon, a phone-over-tag illustration, or short text like "Tap for WiFi." Unmarked tags get discovered by accident and used once; marked tags get used on purpose and repeatedly.
